Secretary-General: Lyra Kinderlerer

Hi everyone! I’m a junior at Hastings High School and have been an active member of Model UN since my sophomore year. My passion for debating and engaging in discussions about global politics and real-world issues drew me to this incredible club. I love the thrill of dissecting real-world issues and gaining understanding of different perspectives. Outside of committee sessions, I enjoy playing chess, rock climbing competitively, and learning about astronomy and stargazing. I'm so excited to be hosting our first conference in over 14 years and look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come!

Hi everyone! I'm a junior at Hastings High School and I've been a part of MUN since sophomore year. After participating in several conferences, I found a passion for international relations and debate. I love discussing the future of humanity and challenging my ideas. When I'm not doing MUN, I love to watch the Lex Fridman podcast, play tennis, and learn about astronomy. I am so excited to be a part of the secretariat and bring HMUNC to life. I can't wait to see you all there!

Secretary: Frieda Belasco

Hi, my name is Frieda and I'm currently a senior at Hastings High School! I have been participating in Model UN since I was a freshman. Over my time attending conferences, I have been lucky to gain many skills that will help me well beyond MUN, from diplomacy to attacking challenging questions with an open mind. Outside of MUN, I am passionate about journalism, photography, reading, learning about history, and traveling. I look forward to meeting you all at the very first HMUNC!

Hello everyone! My name is Anya and I've been doing Model UN since my sophomore year. I am currently a junior at Hastings High School. I love debating, international relations, and learning about issues all over the world. I also love the craziness of crisis committees! Outside of Model UN, I love to run XC and track, paint, and read. I also love rewatching sitcoms like Brooklyn 99 over and over. I am so excited to meet everyone at HMUNC and have an amazing year at Model UN!
