Directions​

HMUNC will take place at Hastings High School, 1 Mt Hope Blvd, Hastings-On-Hudson, NY, 10706.  The Hastings train station is a ten to fifteen-minute walk away. The MTA train line can be taken from Grand Central Station for those coming from NYC. For delegates around Westchester and farther, we suggest driving.

Delegate Preparation

​All delegates must wear Western Business Attire. Delegates will be equipped with a notepad, writing utensil, and folder. Delegates are suggested to bring computers. For all committees, we expect delegates to extensively research committee topics and be thoroughly familiarized with the background guides. 

 

Meal Arrangements

HMUNC will not provide breakfast and lunch. Delegates may order food via UberEats (or any similar applications) to be delivered to the school and may walk down 10 minutes to get to the town of Hastings where there are several locations to eat (we will supply a list of places the day of!). Delegates may also bring their own lunch.

HMUNC Policies

Position papers are not required for any committee, however, delegates may write one if they please. Position papers will not have any effect on awards. If a delegate wishes to get feedback if they choose to write one, they may email it to their chairs and expect feedback by November 21st. 

Technology is permitted at HMUNC. You may write resolutions and directives using laptops, phones, tablets, etc.
